Title

Kurt Bennett is a retired business owner who owned a retail store for 31 years. He attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI to study accounting. While attending WMU he worked as a laboratory tech for U S Plywood. He was promoted to credit manager and later transferred to Nationwide Papers as an Operations Manager. 

In 1977 he became a part owner of a retail company and in 1981, with his wife Joan, purchased the company and operated it until his retirement. During his time in business Kurt was nominated for and elected to the Kalamazoo Institute of Art board of directors and served as the building and grounds committee chairman. Kurt is now living in St. Petersburg, FL and enjoying his retirement.
